Embark on an early morning journey from Dar es Salaam, where our professional driver will pick you up and transport you to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on experience of fire-making using traditional Maasai techniques, as well as gain insight into their rich culture and way of life. Explore the areas where the Maasai people reside, learning about their unique customs and traditions. After the safari, return to your camp to prepare for the next scheduled activities.

Start your day with an early breakfast, followed by a trip to Mikumi National Park for an exciting full-day game drive. Explore the park’s diverse wildlife, including lions, elands, and buffaloes, while appreciating the stunning landscape, with the Mikumi floodplain being a prominent feature bordering the mountain ranges. In the afternoon, enjoy a break for lunch and some rest, before continuing your game drive into the evening. Afterward, return to your camp to prepare for the next scheduled activity.

After a delightful breakfast at your camp, you will be picked up and driven to Nyerere National Park, a journey that promises scenic views along the way; a picnic lunch will be provided during this transit, allowing you to refresh and enjoy the surroundings. Upon arrival in the evening, you will embark on an exciting boat safari where you will have the chance to witness the natural behaviors of hippos and crocodiles in their authentic habitats, surrounded by the serene beauty of the park. Following this, you will be treated to a delicious meal and provided with a comfortable overnight stay, ensuring that you are fully prepared for the next day's adventures.

After a hearty breakfast, your full-day game drive at Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve) will begin at 7:30 am. Departing from lodge, our experienced drivers and guides will escort you through the park's diverse ecosystems. Throughout the day, you'll encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and more. The park’s birdlife and varied landscapes, such as wetlands, dry grasslands, acacia forests, and higher grounds offering expansive mountain views, will also be a highlight of the journey. In the afternoon, take a break to enjoy a packed lunch and relax before continuing your game drive into the evening. At the end of the day, return to the lodge for dinner and a restful night’s sleep, preparing for your final day of adventure.

Start your day with morning tea before embarking on an exciting Bushman walking safari through the forest, guided by an experienced Bushman and accompanied by an armed ranger for safety. After the walk, return to Africa Safari Camp for a hearty breakfast and time to prepare for your journey back to Dar es Salaam.
