Upon arriving at Seronera Airstrip, you'll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. After a delicious picnic lunch, you'll set off on an exciting game drive in search of Serengeti’s iconic big cats and other wildlife like zebras, gazelles, topis, and more. You'll also witness the breathtaking sight of wildebeest and zebras grazing the vast plains or crossing the Mara River. As you explore, you'll encounter a variety of animals and birds roaming the savannah, dominated by acacia trees and grasslands. In the evening, you’ll head back to your camp or lodge for dinner and a relaxing night.
On this day, you'll venture to different regions of the Serengeti—north, south, east, or west—based on the current wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, you'll head out for a morning game drive, followed by a lunch break. In the afternoon, you’ll continue your game drive, exploring more of the Serengeti’s diverse landscapes. In the evening, you'll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Your day will start early at 6:00 am with a hot cup of coffee before heading out from the campsite for a morning wildlife viewing adventure in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise as you explore, but be sure to bring warm clothes as it can be chilly in the morning. The game drive will continue until midday, after which you’ll return to camp for a hearty breakfast, followed by a brunch. Later, you’ll embark on a game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, heading toward the Farm of Dreams for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay
After an early breakfast, you’ll descend more than 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular wildlife viewing experience. The area, sustained by year-round water and abundant fodder, is home to a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. The crater also boasts a high concentration of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which can sometimes be difficult to spot. You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large alkaline lake in the southwest corner of the crater, often frequented by flamingos, hippos, and other waterfowl. In the late afternoon, you will transfer to Mto Wa Mbu for an overnight stay.
You’ll head to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its varied landscapes and ancient baobab trees. The park is also home to the largest elephant population in Tanzania, offering a unique opportunity to observe the social dynamics of elephant families. You’ll enjoy a game drive through the park, with the chance to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, although they can be elusive. The park is also teeming with herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras. After the game drive, you’ll depart the park and head back to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
