After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous national park in the world, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will know why the name means, in the local language, "endless plains". The park has 18,000 sq km (6,900 sq mi), and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon, defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the venue of the Great Migration and home to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes. As for big cats and large predators, it is the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings being filmed in this park.
Serengeti has endless plains accumulated with savannah grassland which provide a wide feeding area throughout the year for wildebeest, many antelope species, and zebras. This makes it a potential area for carnivores such as cheetahs, lions, hyenas, and other wild cats to hunt these herbivores. Also, in Seronera Valley there is dotted acacia vegetation which appears in a group-like structure known as Kopjes which provides a vantage for predators to spot the prey. It also provides a home for reptiles such as lizards and pythons. Later you will be traveling heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses. Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of the African wildlife you have come to see. After your afternoon game drive, you will exit the park and make your way to your Lodge in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After some breakfast, you will depart the Lodge with a picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. MIT is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater before departing to Arusha to your hotel
Today will be your last day in Tanzania and our Team will say goodbye we believe you will have so many memories with you, depending on your schedule, you will be driven to the airport (or any place you requested within the same distance compared to the airport).
